ATLAS COELESTIS
Photography series, 2020
“Atlas Coelestis” is a series of photographs that recreates constellations from star charts illustrated in old celestial atlases. The resulting images are a misinterpretation of pulsing presences, which mark a void in which dark space is interrupted by shining reflections.
Project realized in collaboration with Alessandro Zambianchi for Transpositions III: Mind The Gap, an online exhibition curated by Anastasia Patesy for the Museum of Nonconformist Art, St. Petersburg (RU).
