Kudrovo è una città satellite nel distretto di Vsevolozhsky, adiacente alla città di San Pietroburgo.
Nel 2010 era un villaggio con una popolazione di poco superiore a 100 abitanti. Successivamente, è iniziata un’intensa attività di costruzione di grattacieli residenziali e gli appartamenti sono stati venduti a persone che avevano un lavoro nella vicina San Pietroburgo.
Secondo le stime dei recenti censimenti, la popolazione di Kudrovo si aggira attualmente intorno ai 60.700 abitanti.
Kudrovo è composta da sette complessi residenziali, ognuno dedicato ad una capitale europea. Al centro di ciascun blocco abitativo sono presenti attività ricreative verdi, con scuole, asili e servizi.
Questo progetto fotografico è stato realizzato durante il programma di residenza St. Petersburg Art Residency (SPAR) presso Pushkinskaya-10, fa parte di una ricerca che indaga il paesaggio urbano e le implicazioni sociali delle sue configurazioni.

Kudrovo is a satellite city in the Vsevolozhsky district, adjacent to the city of Saint Petersburg. In 2010, Kudrovo was a village with a population of just over 100 people. Subsequently, there was an intense construction activity of residential skyscrapers and apartments were sold to people who had jobs in nearby Saint Petersburg. According to recent census estimates, the population of Kudrovo currently stands at around 60,700 people. Kudrovo is composed of seven residential complexes, each dedicated to a European capital city. At the center of each housing block, there are green recreational activities with schools, kindergartens, and services.
This photography project was created during the St. Petersburg Art Residency (SPAR) program at Pushkinskaya-10 and forms part of a research that investigates the urban landscape and the social implications of its configurations
