PORTRAITS — Series of paintings
Portraits is a series of paintings on portraits cut out from magazines. A painted gesture alters some details and adds others, rendering each face anonymous. What remains is the pose, the framing, the codes of the portrait itself. Suspended between uniqueness and repetition, these portraits explore the layered and complex nature of identity in its representation.
